Yesterday, I read on my friend Andi's blog how her boys were enjoying playing in the rain and mud brought by the lovely Fay. Great idea, I thought. The weather was not severe...just a steady rain. How much fun for Anna Clare to just frolic in the yard in the rain. She sounded excited and asked for her raincoat and boots.
I wish you could have seen the performance she gave when she discovered her boots were too small! She literally fell down on the floor (several times) in mock frustration because they would not go on her feet. OK. Just put them on for a picture and then you can switch to Crocs.
She lasted about two minutes outside and I heard her come in crying because she fell and got mud on her.
Wasn't that the point? To play in the mud?
This, my friends, is just one of the many differences between girls and boys (or maybe just my girl):)
