We are about halfway through out 2nd year of t-ball. The games are so much fun to watch. You never know which way a child may run or what they're going to be doing in the outfield. They are so cute! I am so glad AC decided to play again this year. I am betting this will be the last year of her baseball career:) She doesn't LOVE t-ball. If it weren't for the "tagging," I think she would. She despises being tagged. I think she got tagged pretty hard last year at a game and has not forgotten it. She even asked me at the beginning of this season if "they were going to be tagging again this year?"

We did discover this year that she can bat right or left, which is pretty neat. She prefers left.

Proudly wearing her Daddy's high school number again this year

I can hear her thinking to herself, "If I run fast enough, I won't get tagged!"

Her Daddy is 3rd base coach, which is her most favorite thing about t-ball. Make that her second favorite. She thinks the best part is the free coke after the game!

Easter Sunday

My two little bedheads

G.G. brought Owen this cute little shirt when she was here last weekend...

And it is so true...he "does" hair much better than I do!

I told her to "let me see your shirt," and this is what she did!

The girls with my sister, Erin, and my brother, Scott. We missed my other brother, Dave and my soon-to-be SIL, Jaime. Their work schedules didn't allow them to come home, but we hope to see them soon. What a glorious day!

Happy Easter!

I love Easter! I love the message of hope and love and life that it brings. It breaks my heart to think about what my Savior went through, but I rejoice that because of His sacrifice, my sins are forgiven and I am free! Thank you, Jesus!

We have been dyeing and decorating eggs, hunting eggs, and are going to make Easter story cookies this weekend. I am thankful that my six-year-old has not even mentioned the Easter bunny (yet). I think the Easter bunny is fine....I just always want her focus for Easter to be on Christ. We are looking forward to singing Resurrection songs on Sunday morning! Happy Happy Easter to everyone! He is Risen!

Birthday Pictures

Although Anna Clare's birthday was almost 2 weeks ago, I am just now getting around to putting up some birthday pictures. We told her we would take her to eat at the restaurant of her choice, and she chose a local Mexican restaurant. This child LOVES cheese dip! So, the four of us celebrated on the night of her birthday with cheese dip, quesadillas and sombreros!

My parents and sister came over later that night with a surprise cake that my mom made for her.

I have a friend who has just started making cookie cakes. I asked her to make one for Anna Clare's birthday and this is how it turned out! Isn't it cute! Anna Clare said, "Mommy, I didn't know it was going to have a 6 on it!" She loved it! Thank you, Chani!

My mom made this cake for her to take to school to share with her teachers and friends...I love it! My sweet mom always makes a cake for her AND a cake for her to take to school.

Do you think we had enough cake, really? Don't worry...we were able to share with friends, neighbors, coworkers, etc. And if you know my husband (and my daughter, for that matter), you'll know that she had to be "cut-off" at some point from each cake, and he was just the one for the job!:)

We are getting ready for one of my most favorite holidays...Easter! What about you?
