Daddy's Other Little Hunter

Steve took Owen "hunting" last Sunday afternoon. I am not sure how much hunting they actually did. It mostly involved a lot of riding around in the truck "farming," walking through the woods, and bonfires. (She also informed me that she got to "tee-tee in the woods A LOT" and she found this to be super fun) He sent me pictures from his cell phone and I loved it!

I think it's safe to say she loved it too...a whole lot more than her sister did.

I don't think I have mentioned lately how much I love my husband but I am so ready for bow season to be over only a few more days I think I can make it.

And now for the really exciting news.......

Laura and Scott are expecting their 1st baby in September!! Yes, this is my brother and sister-in-law who got married in July. Yes, my other brother and sister-in-law are having a baby boy in May. Yes, this means Christmas this year will be so much fun with two sweet tiny babies! Yes, we are beyond EXCITED!!

Playtime

Here's a little of what we've been doing the last couple of weeks while trapped inside because of all the cold weather (not complaining though - I will take the cold over the summer humidity and mosquitoes any day).

Does your house ever look like this?

Or this?

We especially love when Daddy gets home.

"Flip the Pancake" is a personal favorite among these three...

Owen is slowly coming off scissor restriction (only under complete parental supervision of course) and is enjoy a bit of "cutting" freedom.

(She got an art set for Christmas and immediately handed it over to me and said "You better take the scissors out." It cracked me up!)

Owen and her preschool paperdoll

And last but not least...

From all the Thompson girls...

I feel like I'm an Auburn freshman again in 1993...what a great season that was! We were undefeated throughout the season but were unfortunately denied a championship attempt due to probation. My Daddy, bless his Crimson heart, spotted me cheering in the stands in the highlights on Terry Bowden's Sunday night show after at least 2 different games. But he was always a good sport about it. Just like he is today as Auburn is getting ready to play for the National Championship tonight! Today I got this text picture from him...

The caption said "War Eagle from your Roll Tide friend" Love it!

WARRRRRRRRRR EAGLE!!!
