September Beach Trip - Part 1

We headed down to Seagrove for a long weekend at the end of September. If memory serves me correctly, it's the first time that just the four of us have been to the beach together. After going with my entire family a few years ago the weekend after Labor Day, we decided that September was our favorite time for the beach.

The rates are good, the crowds are almost non-existent, and the weather is perfect!

Anna Clare found the prettiest, most perfect little shell...

Steve did a little deep reading...

And I did alot of light reading (My favorite place to read is on the beach so I read this one start to finish while we were there).

MANY sand castles were built.

This next picture cracks me up.

We have a really nice beach tent but realized over half way down on Thursday night that we left it at home! So we bought two cheap, flimsy umbrellas at the Tom Thumb, and Steve chased them down the beach SEVERAL times!

We made plaster molds of the girls' footprints in the sand.

They turned out great! Until they both cracked down the middle! We brought them home anyway. :)

We stayed on the beach until after dark both nights!

Peace out for now! More coming soon.
