2 months

He is smiling and laughing all the time now.  I could eat him UP!

At his two month checkup he weighed 11 pounds, 15 ounces and was 22.5 inches long. That put him in the 20th percentile for height and almost 40th for weight. People always comment on how big he is or that he looks older than he is but he is actually not as big as he looks I guess. He is wearing a size 2 diaper and 0-3 month clothes and can still wear a few newborn gowns.

I love his sweet smile and precious laugh. I could just hold him and talk to him all day. He just started rolling over from his tummy to his back. He did it for the first time on his 11 week birthday. I always forget to put him on his tummy to play. I read my friend Fran's blog about how her little boy who is about the same age loves to be on his tummy. So I put him on his activity mat, walked into the kitchen for a minute, and came back to find him on his back. I asked the girls which one of them moved him and they both said, "I didn't touch him!" So we turned him over and watched him do it again. I have the cutest video of them cheering him on that I will have to post. His is growing way too fast but we are enjoying every minute of it. What an absolute JOY he is!

I also have a prayer request from my SIL, Jaime. Her best friend's 7-year-old niece, Emma, was hit by a car and killed this week. She was riding her scooter in front of their house with her 11-year-old brother and he saw the whole thing happen and is blaming himself. Please pray for their family and for the woman who hit Emma. She is having a very difficult time. I absolutely cannot imagine. This family needs lots of prayers. Thank you!
