Cousin Time!

Steve's mom brought our niece and nephew over to spend the weekend. They live 5 hours away, so we don't see them as often as we would like. All four cousins were born exactly 2 years apart and all in the spring. Walker is 7, Anna Clare is 5, LeighEllen is 3, and Owen is 1. So every other spring, G.G. has gotten herself a new grandchild! They had the best time...playing, laughing, eating, swimming, picking blueberries....

I have to end with Steve doing a flip off the diving board...I was very impressed!

These guys and their flips!!!! Tell me where to pick blueberries! Movie was o.k. I am not so into "movie musicals," it wasn't my taste and there were several parts I could have done without for sure, but the music itself was great and the setting was so pretty. It didn't matter 'cause the crew I was with could have a good time together starring at a wall and find something funny about it. :)

Their outfits are too adorable! I remember when mom used to dress me and Anna like that.

I love children in matching outfits! I think I told you that is one of my most favorite things. A flip, I'm impressed too!

They are all too cute. They are lucky to have a grandmother who takes up so much time with them. I wish I had taken my mother's advice and learned to sew. We had several 'battles' in the sewing room with her attempting to teach me. She always would say "one day you will wish you had learned to sew". I can't tell you how true that is now.

to be fair... I made up the Taiwan thing, North Face is made partially at home, but a lot of it is outsourced to China (I think its CHina). but they did sell out to Vanity Fair in 2000, and the quality has gone down hill since then. I have a jacket that I bought in 1995 and it's STILL in tact, but I see kids come in with jackets from last year that are falling apart. It's all about making you spend more money. If you want to put your kids in good, warm fleece jackets go Patagonia all the way!!! not only are they better quality and made here in the states but the company is actually very enviornmentally focused. Their fleece is made of recyled platic bottles!!! AND they make SUPER cute lifestyle clothing for men women and kids!
