7 months

Steve started calling him Rocket Man (any one humming Elton John?) a few weeks ago because he loves to get up on all fours and rock...hard. I know every baby does it, but when you haven't seen it in over 4 years, you forget how stinkin' cute it is. And about two days before he turned 7 months old, Rocket Man took off. It's not the prettiest thing you've ever seen, but it gets the job done. He is all over the place if you put him down. I have some video I'll post later. We also moved him to his crib for the first time this week. I know. Ridiculous. But it was easy having him in the bassinet by our bed and I was a little concerned about Owen going in and trying to get him out of his crib since their rooms are right next to each other. Steve went ahead and lowered the crib to the lowest level and took the bumpers off. Big boy :( His absolute most favorite thing to do right now is ride on the golf cart. Steve takes him every day, late afternoon, and he is mesmerized. Never makes a peep. He is doing great with baby food and loves almost everything. He gags and shudders a little on the solid meats but I would too. Gross.
 

 He still sleeps all night (Praise the Lord!) usually from about 8:30pm to between 6:30-7:30am. Steve also got a great report at the neurologist a couple of weeks ago. He is still doing well on the Keppra and he doesn't have to go back for another year. Then after that, he will only go about every 3 years. We are so thankful for God's faithfulness.


And Benton loves to be outside!
