The Sweetest Song

I recently added music to my blog. I'm not sure why I did because I usually have to pause other people's music to read their posts because I am a "must have silence" reader in order to concentrate. But for whatever reason, I wanted it on mine. Sometimes it's nice to just have it playing. Anna Clare heard "God of Wonders" come on and said "Mommy, I know this song! We learned it in Bible School." So she proceeds to sing it to me and my heart melted! For her to sing, even to me, is a pretty big deal because I am finding that she has some insecurity issues (at 5 years old...what's that about? And if it starts now, what will it be like as a young teen?). But that's a post for another day. Anyway, I think one of the sweetest sounds for a mom to hear is her child singing praise songs about Jesus! So now, when I am on the computer, she puts in her little requests for the song she wants to hear. "Mommy, will you put it on......" And what do you think my response is? "Yes, ma'am I will!"

What a cute pic. I'm sure it is lots of fun to hear her sing the words to you. I got your message about the playlist and I will help you fix it. You asked if Chris was in the room during my fall. No, he wasn't. He was in the bedroom and heard the commotion. The sad thing is that he didn't even get up to see what the loud noise was. He said "well I just figured you dropped something". I guess he is used to it by now. After he asked if I was ok, he laughed which I didn't mind because I had to laugh at myself too...

I can't believe how fast Anna Clare is growing up! Both of your girls are so beautiful and I love that we can watch them grow by reading your blog! Take care!

Precious to hear praise from children. I don't know if there is any sweeter, genuine praise than that of a child. I am so thankful that she has such a good mommy to encourage her! She is a doll!
Have a great weekend! Andi

Let's hope I don't fall in the oven! I don't think my broken body can take any more. I will tell you that I am a stomach sleeper and since the incident, I have not been able to sleep in my preferred posistion. My chest is just too painful. Maybe my severe bruise will be an excuse not to break out the bikini when I go to the beach next month.
